With a handful of seeds from a variety from Kerala we got our first 30 feet. The volcanic soil of the Boloven Plateau proved to be favorable and the first plants started to produce a beautiful Red Pepper. The starred chefs of France reported to us their interest.
Encouraged by these results we have undertaken to expand plantations and the first harvest started in 2014. One of the objectives is to encourage farmers in the region to develop these plantations. Maï Savanh Lao providing cuttings and technical advice.
