Bolaven's green salted peppercorns
It is a captivating pepper, of a beautiful aromatic elegance, fresh and fruity. It is very pleasant on the palate, like popcorn with a nice roundness and a progressive spiciness.
The Bolovens Plateau in southern Laos is best known for its tea and coffee cultures. It is in the province of Sekong, nestled at 650 meters above sea level and fed by volcanic soil rich in nutrients that our Poivre draws all its singularity. In Laos, pepper "Pick Taï" is consumed in small quantities unlike the pepper "Mack Phet".
This pepper is harvested before formation of the kernel (achene), passed in a brine and then dried.
Its aromatic elegance allows it to match both white and red meats, even with fish or salads. It will make a great impression on a Grill!
